Il progetto preliminare riguarda il restyling di un fabbricato degli anni ‘50 destinato ad ospitare la Nuova sede della Confartigianato Fiorentina.

L’intervento prevede la ristrutturazione globale del manufatto, che comunque conserva il suo impianto morfologico preesistente, tranne la sua fisionomia prospettica, che cambia decisamente pelle.

Infatti, il ridisegno della facciata prevede ampie aperture seriali ed un rivestimento con lastre di pietra pregiata Santafiora bucciardata. Il tetto a falde dell’edificio viene schermato con un pannello in lamiera zincata grecata, sorretto da staffe in acciaio incrociate ed agganciate alla parete mediante scuretti sporgenti, anch’essi in acciaio.

concept _ [change the skin]

The preliminary design regards the restyling of a building of the 50’s to house the new headquarters of Confartigianato Fiorentina.
The project involves the comprehensive restructuring of the building, which still retains its existing plant morphology, except its appearance perspective, which changes much skin.

In fact, the redesign of the facade provides serial wide ports and a fine finish with stone slabs Santafiora Bucciardata. The pitched roof of the building is screened with a panel in corrugated galvanized sheet, supported by crossed steel brackets and attached to the wall with protruding shutters, also in steel.
